Slowly letting go of something

Slowly letting go of something attends the invigorating process of reducing tension. Without

rushing it, letting go is experienced as a longing for a never-ending touch, slowly releasing things we hold on to too tightly. On an elevated platform, performers gradually loosen their grip on various materials. These objects drift from their hands, parachuting weightlessly or crashing to the ground. Their descent mirrors the internal processes of letting go—a heartbreak, grief or unrealized dreams - acting and affirming the ongoing process.
